Control Engineer of Grid-Tied Power Electronic Converters (m/f/d)

• You develop control algorithms for the grid integration of power electronic converters
• You implement and optimize modulation, balancing, and fault-tolerant operation methods in multilevel converters
• You prepare reports, papers, and patents on converter control topics
• You share your expertise with the team and contribute to knowledge exchange
• You collaborate with colleagues from various specializations such as test automation, HiL, FPGA, Embedded Software, and Hardware

• You have a PhD degree in control engineering, electrical engineering, or energy technology
• You have at least 2 years of professional experience and deep knowledge of grid integration of power electronic converters
• You possess a strong understanding of grid-following and grid-forming concepts. Knowledge of grid code compliance is a plus
• You are familiar with power electronics topologies, Modular Multilevel Converters, and medium/high voltage applications
• You have experience with MATLAB/Simulink and lifecycle management tools (Integrity, Doors, Atlassian) as well as version control systems
• You have very good communication skills in English
