You are looking for new challenges in the dynamic field of Rubber Material development?

Then we have an unique offer for you. As our head of "Material Technology Solutions" you contribute to our organization at a key position.

  • You lead a diverse team of Chemists and Material Specialists working in three different locations and think globally. With your sound cooperative leadership skills, you realize the team's ambition of continued further development and operational success.
  • The development of new technologies from the research and ideation phase to the successful pre-development is the broad scope of your responsibility.
  • You deliver new technologies "ready to use" for our compounding functions to keep our products at the leading edge of competition, and consider Performance, Sustainability and Cost as key dimensions to reach our ambitions.
  • Together with your colleagues in Purchasing and Manufacturing you manage the technical approval process for all raw materials to ensure highest quality materials in our tire plants while ensuring supply security.


Profil
  • University degree in natural sciences, preferably Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Several years of experience in a leading position within the area of R&D of the rubber industry, with a proven track record of success and personal impact.
  • Sound background in rubber chemistry and technology, experience in leading joint research projects with other companies, institutes, and universities.
  • Excellence in cooperating with our global supplier network to reach our quality, flexibility, and supply targets.
  • Excellent MS Office user capability, fully capable to use today's communication tools and system environments.
  • Excellent business level in English, medium skill level in German.
  • You are ambitious, technically sound in your area, have excellent communication and interaction skills, paired with a good sense for business and technical opportunities.
