What you will do
The HR Payroll Analyst (m/f/d) will guarantee the orderly execution of salary and payroll accounting and the orderly application of the personal information systems. Furthermore, you will maintain and optimize the organizational and data processing systems as well as the accurate execution of used payroll systems (i.e. update payroll parameters as wage categories, taxation). As a HR Payroll Analyst, you enter personnel data for new employees and support all employee in consulting and providing information about all queries relating to salary, taxes, health and social insurance, deductions and issuing diverse attestations and forms. The role will be based in our EMEA headquarters office in Hanover, Germany.

Aufgaben
Main Responsibilities:
  • You will check HR documents for correctness and completeness according to the relevant guidelines and valid legislation, clarify potential discrepancies with the responsible people and obtain missing data
  • You calculate earnings from timesheets, production records or individual time records, including overtime or shift payments
  • You make salary deductions where instructed due to local taxation (e.g. company car, fringe benefits etc.)
  • You prepare regularly scheduled reports for governmental and other external agencies regarding company payment of various taxes, health and social insurance premiums, union dues, etc.
  • You calculate compensations and sick pay
  • You make deductions to salary in accordance with national and company regulations, received/signed agreements and judicial decisions
  • You compile appropriate lists/reports for the HR and Accounting Departments (including accruals calculation where necessary)
  • You prepare order for bank transfer
  • You implement new rules, benefits, law changes etc.
  • You register and deregister employees at the health and social insurance companies - depends on location
  • You report accidents to the liability assurance association
  • You monitor changes in employee status (entries, exits, fixed-term contracts)
  • You create personnel files (master file data input) - depends on location
  • You calculate net/gross wages which form the basis of contractual negotiations and used in balance sheets by Comp. & Ben.
  • You collaborate with respective authorities (provide asked information, attend audits etc.)
  • You prepare and compile HRIS reports/statistics/notifications correctly and timely and according to the customer´s needs and legal requirements
  • You compile annual announcements and statistics for authorities

Profil What we look for
Required
  • Degree in Economics with focus on accounting or a vocational training in an equivalent area
  • Solid experience in payroll accounting and related processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment including shift systems
  • Good knowledge of taxes, health and social security
  • Very good knowledge of general HR
  • Used payroll system experience
  • Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive issues
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in German and English
